What customers say?

“ Great French restaurant Service: Excellent. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and they are always happy to answer any questions. The chef even came out to introduce himself and talk about the dishes. Food: Delicious. The menu features classic French dishes, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I started with the escargot, which were perfectly cooked and served with a rich and flavorful sauce and crispy baguette. For my main course, I had the special pork, which was tender and juicy. The bread pudding from croissant for dessert was moist and decadent. Overall: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great French dining experience. Additional Comments: The coffee was excellent and a perfect match for the dessert. The chef was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. I would definitely return to this restaurant. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service. ”

“ We traveled for 10 days through the U.S. Southwest, went through 9 cities, had many experiences, but Freeddie’s food was the best of the trip! What a pleasant surprise! The onion soup was incredible! The dishes were a show on their own! The wine was of excellent quality, and the service was five-star! Congratulations! ”

“ Everything we ordered at Freddie’s was great: escargots, duck, black cod, creme brulee, cocktails and champagne but what made the evening special was an unexpected treat from the chef. He brought us a sample of ratatouille he had made for his wife and wanted to share. It was extraordinary. Since returning to Ohio, we have tried ratatouille again, and nothing has come close. Freddie’s spoiled us in the best possible way ”

“ Absolutely amazing restaurant. This must be the best kept secret in the Palm Springs dining scene. This is a small, intimate restaurant with some of the best food I've had in Palm Springs. Chef Freddy is amazing, he's very personable and he's very proud of his cooking and he should be. I think we sampled almost everything on the menu and it was all fantastic. You can't go wrong. The service is also fantastic. One last thing, don't skip the desserts they're all amazing. ”

“ I had the Branzino and partner has the wild boar. Also the onion soup and the mushroom strudel apptz. Everything was delicious. The owner chef was very friendly and social with guests. The only issue is you had to walk all the way around the hotel from back parking lot to get to restaurant. Not so convenient, especially if hotel is busy and front parking is full. ”

“ OMG don't walk but run there! The food is unbelievable! We had the tomato salad and bread to start. Both were great and you must have both. A table near us has the mushroom special and they raved! I had the cod and my husband had the duck. He is never happy when he orders duck; he was happy! Bread pudding for dessert was on point! What a great meal and reasonable prices! This is an experience not to be rushed! ”

“ Freddie’s Kitchen is beyond amazing — intimate, delightful, and downright delicious. The menu may look small, but it’s mighty! Chef Freddie knows exactly what he’s doing, and he does it on a level unmatched anywhere in Palm Springs. Last night’s dinner was pure perfection. The soupe de poisson special took our taste buds straight to heaven, my miso black cod was an incredible experience in flavor and texture, and Jeff’s elk medallions were absolute perfection — both in presentation and taste. And whatever you do, don’t skip the chocolate mousse — it’s the best you’ll find this side of France! Service from Marco was spot-on as always, and Chef Freddie’s personal visit to the table truly completes the experience. Elegant, warm, and unforgettable — Freddie’s Kitchen is what dining in Palm Springs should be. ”

“ OMG Freddie's Kitchen at the retro Cole hotel is the best kept secret in Palm Springs! Do not be fooled by this little bistro's exterior for hidden within, is a wizard creating magic. Exquisitely crafted dishes with top quality ingredients, magical potions and sauces created by a master chef or magician, I don't know but you can be the judge. By chance we came across Freddie's Kitchen when we were traveling thru Palm Springs from San Francisco. We started off dinner with the Summer Tomatoes and Cesar Salad appetizers. The tomato appetizer could best be described as colorful gems of vine-rippened tomatoes bursting with sweet summer flavors, delicately strung together with hints of basil, virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, toasted pine nuts, while the crunchy emerald green Cesar Salad, tossed in a perfectly creamy acidity balanced dressing...I could go on and on about each unbelievable dish, the "to-die-for" desserts, the plates of amazing perfection, not to mention the thoughtful wine list, the attentive Marco ensuring one of a perfect evening, I won't... BUT YOU CAN THANK ME AFTER YOU'VE BEEN. ”
